I joined Johan for his first Sunday evening class at NYS last weekend . It was great, a bit challenging - you knew you'd had some exercise - and really enjoyable. Johan is a lovely guy and a good teacher. I look forward to joining his classes from time to time, in addition to the well established and most rewarding classes by Christian on a Wednesday evening.

Today I attended an evening class, Sunday 6pm. I haven’t practiced yoga before, so this was my very first lesson. I was a bit apprehensive at first, thinking that I wouldn’t be able to keep up or manage the asana being taught. I was happily very wrong. Steve conducted a very easy to follow, well structured class. It took no time at all to get into the rhythm of the class and flow along as Steve ran the class through basic asana and even some of the more advanced asana. The class was well presented and provided me with a good understanding of how the various yoga asana are practiced. Steve taught the asana using both English terms and Sanskrit, something that I find interesting. The other attendees were all very attentive and of all degrees of size and shape and fitness. Practicing yoga without the restrictions of clothing is something that simply makes sense. You won’t even realise everyone is naked once you begin. I felt great after the class had ended, energised and fresh. I will definitely be attending more Sunday evening classes and highly recommend any guys interested in practicing yoga go along and give it a try. You’ll be hooked straight away, just as I am!

It was a great experience. A little difficult at first, going through a blank door to i dunno where. Once i got up the stairs it was good to lose my clothes and have a beginners lesson. I’ll be back.

First time attendee. Was feeling a bit nervous but soon got into the swing of things. Great energy and location with a raw, industrial feel. Steve, the yoga teacher, was very thorough and explained the yoga postures well. Great bunch of like minded men of all ages, shapes and sizes. Freedom, liberation and a great workout. I'll be there whenever I can in future.

Wow, it was my first time there and Danny made me feel very comfortable. I have arthritis in the spine which affects my legs however after my first workout I left there pain free and feeling great. Danny explained to me just go as far as you are comfortable and stop if you are in pain. As for being naked once again I was at ease after one minute, I recondend it for anybody who is looking at bettering themselves health wise, for sure I will be back.

I had my first class with NYS this morning. The initial experiences with the instructor was good. I filled out a form and paid $15. I laid out my mat and had a chat with a guy. Then it started. Everybody seemed quiet down and we took our clothes off. I was a little bit nervous at the first ten minutes, but I caught up well with the class. I was in the front row, and it seemed that people who want to practise in comfort, i.e. not too much challenge are in the back row. I almost had a semi erection, but it disappeared quickly, because the class work requires extra focus on all the moves. And I wanted to achieve all from the class work. The instructor was kind and very good. Other class members are very respectful and quiet admirers of each others. I enjoyed it and I will try to come back every Saturday morning.

This is a sensational place to practice yoga without restrictions of clothing and with a supportive teacher and friendly crowd.

To be honest I wasn't too sure before joining I could do it. I was quite scared of making a fool of myself in front of other fit and experienced guys. But you washed all my worries away with the way you conduct the class, being very understanding and so charismatic. I think I felt comfortable with you and the whole class the minute you dropped your clothes on the very first class and walked around naked in such a relaxed manner. Thank you for having brought something new and very enjoyable in my life.

When we first started, I could just relax and focus on my breathing and moves. Nobody commented, gawked or turned away - I was just accepted, which was great.

Many thanks. Being my first time at yoga, it was a great work out. And while I am sure I will feel it tomorrow, it was great. It will do me much good, and it was great to being able to do yoga with a bunch of like minded guys.
